Configuring Vesta CP
Vesta CP supports various operating systems, including RHEL / CentOS 5, 6, 7, Debian 7, 8, 9, and Ubuntu 12.04 – 18.04. Before starting the installation process, ensure your system meets the minimal requirements: 512 Mb RAM, 20 Gb HDD, and a 1 Ghz CPU.
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Download PuTTY Begin by downloading PuTTY, a free tool for accessing your VPS. You can find it here.
Step 2: Open PuTTY and Login Launch PuTTY and log in with your VPS IP address. A new page will open, prompting you for login details:
Login: root
Password: [Your password from your VPS server panel]
Step 3: Execute Commands Once logged in, enter the following commands:
apt-get install curlcurl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.shbash vst-install.sh --force
Step 4: Start Setup Follow the prompts; when asked to start the setup, enter “Y.”
Step 5: Provide Information You’ll be prompted for your email address (used for sending Vesta panel password) and your domain (e.g., yourdomain.com).
Step 6: Wait for Installation Allow a few minutes for the installation to complete. You’ll receive a mail from VestaCP containing your login information.
Step 7: Access Vesta CP Visit https://yourserveripaddress:8083 in your browser and log in using the provided credentials.
